An Abundance of Obstacles

Lord Ganesh – Infinite Abundance – Keepers of the Light Oracle

Welcome to the Card of the Week for Monday the 14th of October 2024 where Ganesh comes forth from the Keepers of the Light Oracle by Kyle Gray. Given that the light bulb in my office just blew as I started this Card of the Week, something tells me we are in for one Hell of a time. Given this, I feel that it is important to say that I feel that this Card of the Week, and the previous one is a little more personal, but still broad enough to apply to others who may well be going through a similar situation.

Many know Ganesh as the elephant headed God of India who is there to destroy obstacles, have a fun time, and to encourage people to enjoy the sweet things in life. In spite of this message of infinite abundance and the message that came forward last week with Generosity Leading to More hinting at great abundance, nothing changed and there was no news of any change. Well, that’s not technically correct. There was a change that involved more debt, more bills, and charges incoming. Oh, and an abundance of obstacles. Not quite the change that is being sought.

Of course, there would be many out there that would echo the sentiments of many who say to focus on the positives no matter what. This is ‘Toxic Positivity’ in its simplest of forms, but this is a matter to be addressed at a later date. In the here and now, with this Card of the Week and Ganesh seeming to sit there like a shag on a rock doing nothing to help bring in abundance and clear the blocks to financial flow, the real world and the flow on effects of this seeming inaction need to be dealt with.

What few people speak of, or even know about Ganesh, is that while he removes obstacles, he can also places them. Many say that he does this to help guide you towards a path that is for your highest good and the usual rigmarole that the toxic side of spirituality focuses on. In this instance, I feel that Ganesh may actually be placing an abundance of obstacles to push us in a certain direction. For better or for worse, I have no idea. But I am sure I am not the only one who is going through this. All I know for certain is that something is trying to keep me, and others, in the dark about certain matters. Much like the light bulb blowing as I started to bring this forward.

To bring all of this together, the abundance of obstacles may well be creating a path to something better. But I definitely do not know if this is a sure thing. After all, we are still in the Festival of Navratri where the Hindu Deities hold a lot of influence, so this matter may well be one that resolves as this sacred time draws to a close. Of course, only time will tell as the week and further Card of the Week readings happen. All I know for certain is that something is trying to keep me, and others, in the dark about certain matters. Much like the light bulb blowing as I started to bring this forward.

Supplementary: And to top it all off, as I am putting this into my website and explaining all of this to my husband, they suddenly had a sharp pain in their right foot and found themselves needing to sit down. Upon looking at their foot, it turned out to be bleeding quite profusely without any real cause to be seen. As the right foot is moving forward, it would appear that metaphysical roadspikes are at play as well as the usual obstacles. As I said earlier, one Hell of a time ahead indeed,
