Eight of Gabriel – Archangel Power Tarot

Welcome to the Card of the Week for Monday the 28th of October 2024 where the Eight of Gabriel soars forth from the Archangel Power Tarot by Radleigh Valentine. The Archangel Gabriel is often associated with heralding times of change and news, and this is no exception as they are here to herald rapid change.

As the Eight of Gabriel is tied to the Eight of Wands in traditional Tarot, its meaning becomes more and more clear given the activity shown in the card itself. Here the birds are soaring and flying about in no real order or formation as it seems they are all trying to sort themselves out on the fly and yet they all seem to know what each other are intending to do and act accordingly.

It is becoming more apparent that a communication of sorts is on its way – if it has not arrived already – and the need to get yourself organised and to act accordingly is essential. As this rapid change is hitting hard and fast, thinking on your feet is needed in order to do what is either expected of you or what you need to do.

Such rapid change, however, will not be without its emotional upset or influence. Emotions will also play a part in this process as you need to organise the emotional baggage as well as any literal baggage should a journey need to be undertaken.

To bring this altogether, the rapid changes that are ahead may not necessarily be welcome, but they are essential for your growth and for the growth of others. All you need do is focus on your own path at this time while keeping an eye and ear out to hear what others are doing so you can plan accordingly. Don’t be afraid to communicate how you are feeling for others as you go forth. Remember, communication goes both ways so as others communicate with you, you need to communicate with them.
