A card such as this really highlights and continues on with the theme of how hectic life is in the silly season, as highlighted in the last Card of the Week. As you go about preparing for time with family, such busy-ness is sure to take a toll given how much often needs to be done during the festivities.

Now is the time, as you go about getting things organised, to splurge a little and reward yourself with a treat or two. This may be as simple as a scented candle for some alone time or even a massage or spa-day to reinvigorate yourself and increase your energy levels in preparation for the coming weeks.

Rewarding yourself brings balance to the giving and receiving flow of the Cosmos since you are giving a lot of energy to be ready for the festive times that are ahead. In rewarding yourself, you are therefore receiving energy to top up that which is expended – it’s all about checks and balances.

To bring this all together, bringing balance to your energy by rewarding yourself is extremely important. With so much going on, it is important to not forget about yourself. After all, if you don’t look after yourself, then who will?
